Cynthia Rendon, J.D.

Cynthia Rendon obtained her law degree from the University of Texas School of Law in 1998. While in law school, she was a recipient of the Judge Bill Junell endowed presidential scholarship in law and was a Shell Oil Foundation scholar. She obtained her undergraduate degree from Southern Methodist University in 1995, where she was a recipient of a full-tuition academic scholarship. She graduated with high honors and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and the Golden Key National Honor Society. Ms. Rendon has significant experience in a broad array of litigation matters, with specialized expertise in medical malpractice, nursing home litigation, pharmaceutical litigation and products liability. She has authored continuing legal education papers and prepared presentations entitled "Litigation Headaches," "The New Discovery Rules: Pitfalls for Practitioners," "Teleradiology: Read in China, Sued in America," and "Legal Issues and the Surgery Center." She is admitted to practice in Texas and in all of the United States Districts of Texas. Ms. Rendon joined WLI in October 2007 as a claims attorney.
